HELLO BALBOA PARENTS!

A warm welcome from the Balboa Magnet School Parent Association!  Together, the members of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and the Balboa Spirit Club (BSC) work alongside our teachers and administrators to ensure that our children get the most and best from their Balboa experience.

Balboa’s award-winning PTA works year-round to provide enrich­ment opportunities, class projects, field trips, music programs and school improvements.  PTA parents also work to create community events that bring our school families and community closer together. 

The BSC’s goal on campus is to manage the school’s “Direct Appeal” fundraising campaign.  100% of your generous financial donation to the “Direct Appeal” campaign is used to directly fund the computer and physical education programs on campus, as well as teaching assistants, field trips, school equipment and campus improvements. 

We strongly encourage your participation on campus.  Parent involvement is vital to Balboa’s continued level of excellence.
