"Stop Drop and Roll" the highly effective
Balboa Magnet Carpool Lane Program, provides a safe and effective way for our children to arrive and leave
school through the carpool lane.
If you see a volunteer helping your child, please say "thank you"
and remember that we are all doing this together.
Check the calendar below to see which days your class
is responsible for providing volunteers.
Note:
The A.M. shift starts @ 7:45.
The P.M. shift starts @
2:30.
The P.M. shift on Bank Tuesdays starts @ 1:30.
What do I need to do as a volunteer?
You can check with your room parent for a detailed
list of
Stop Drop & Roll instructions, but generally:
- Please pull out the sign and place it at the top of the carpool lane (where the red curb starts).
- For safety, put on the vest provided in the bag.
Help children in and out of their cars and wave traffic forward.
On rainy days the carpool gate is at the Request Gate further up
Paso Robles.
And remember, a greeting and a smile goes a long way with a child.
